@Katie,

The SEO part isn't easy. Especially since most of it is done behind the scenes and can't be viewed when looking over your site. What I have found is that there are some good tools out there to check some of the SEO options - namely Google Webmaster Tools. While it's not entirely comprehensive, it does give a list of pages with identical titles, long titles, short titles, etc... Since the title tag is how Google indexes the pages, it's crucial to set them up correctly.

I'm thinking about doing a post on Headspace -- one of the better WordPress plugins for this type of management but haven't really gotten all my thoughts in order just yet. It is in the works though.

Mark,

I'm honored by all your kind comments! You do a great job here, and it sounds like I might be able to learn a bit from you about SEO. I just don't make/take the time to really SEO my posts/titles after spending all that time that you so precisely broke down doing my writing and numerous other blog "tasks". I rarely find time to comment on other blogs lately, perhaps why my numbers were down in Dec. compared to Nov. ??

Thanks again for the mentions -- I did nearly reply to your comment at Problogger, but I was running super low on time. Wanted you to know that I recognized your name when your email came in, so maybe you're not so bad at making bloggy connections after all!

Steve,
Thanks for the compliment! Is your writing published anywhere? If so, send me a link -- I'd love to read it!
Thanks also for the link. I plan on looking into it.
Enjoy your holiday!

Hi Mark, Steve here Yanna's boyfriend. We met at the Black lotus brewery with the belly dancers. Yanna sent me the link to this post because I have started writing articles. It seems easy to navigate your blog and your writing flows well. As for marketing a blog on little time there are some tools that I have read about that I think you might be interested in.
Check out traffic bug and link assistant.
Have a nice holiday.
